The Somali community of Minneapolis, Minnesota held a welcome dinner for presidential candidate Abdulkareem Hassan Jama and the delegation he is leading.
Minneapolis is home to a large part of the Somali community in the United States, and the dinner brought together residents, community organisations and guests.
The visit continued with further meetings across the state in the days that followed, including gatherings with community figures in St. Paul.
