Youth at the heart of Ogaal's vision

Ogaal was founded so that the Somali people, and young people in particular, have a lawful platform through which to realise their near- and long-term ambitions.

More than two-thirds of Somalis are under the age of thirty. Our youth programme focuses on three areas:

• Civic leadership: training young members to organise, debate and stand for office.
• Jobs and skills: policy proposals that connect education to the labour market.
• Digital participation: tools that let young people shape the party platform directly.
